PreRequirements:
Minimum age of 18 years old.
General good health and physical fitness for diving.
Adequate swimming and diving skills, with prior experience in overhead environments recommended.
What you will learn:
Advanced techniques for navigating and exploring cave systems.
Use of specialized cave diving equipment, including reels, lines, and lights.
Gas management strategies for diving in overhead environments.
Emergency procedures for cave diving, including lost line drills and out-of-air scenarios.
Environmental awareness and best practices for preserving fragile cave ecosystems.
Course content:
Knowledge Development: Classroom sessions covering cave diving theory, equipment configurations, and risk management in overhead environments.
Confined Water Training: Practice essential cave diving skills, such as line deployment, communication signals, and buoyancy control in controlled environments.
Open Water and Cave Dives: Apply learned techniques during guided dives in real cave systems, focusing on navigation, emergency drills, and team coordination.
Equipment Workshop: Detailed training on the use and maintenance of cave diving gear.
Final Evaluation: Assessment of cave diving skills, including emergency procedures, gas planning, and navigation in overhead environments.
