PreRequirements:
Minimum Age: 18 years old.
Experience: At least 20 logged open water dives.
Certification: TDI Nitrox Diver (or equivalent).
Crossover Students: If you're already CCR certified, we offer a Unit Crossover for those with at least 10 logged CCR dives in the last 12 months.
What you will learn:
The Optima CM Diver Course equips you with the skills to safely and effectively operate the Optima CM rebreather:
Rebreather Technology: Understand the principles of closed-circuit systems, including oxygen management and CO2 scrubbers.
Equipment Configuration: Learn to assemble, configure, and maintain the Optima CM system.
Buoyancy Control: Develop precise buoyancy skills unique to rebreather diving.
Gas Management: Master the monitoring and adjustment of oxygen and diluent gases.
Emergency Protocols: Learn how to handle rebreather malfunctions, bailout procedures, and manual oxygen control.
Extended Dive Techniques: Experience longer, quieter dives with minimal environmental impact.
