PreRequirements:
PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent certification).
Minimum age of 18 years old.
At least 30 logged dives, including 10 dives to 30 meters/100 feet using enriched air.
Certified as a PADI Enriched Air Diver (or equivalent certification).
What you will learn:
Fundamentals of technical diving, including equipment setup and maintenance.
Gas planning and management for technical dives.
Advanced buoyancy control techniques tailored for decompression dives.
Emergency protocols and risk assessment for technical diving.
Dive planning, execution, and decompression practices for depths up to 40 meters/130 feet.
Course content:
Knowledge Development: Classroom sessions covering technical dive theory, gas management, and decompression principles.
Confined Water Practice: Training dives to familiarize you with technical diving equipment and safety protocols.
Open Water Dives: Hands-on dives to apply skills, including gas switching, emergency drills, and buoyancy refinement.
Equipment Workshop: Detailed overview of technical diving gear, including backmount or sidemount configurations and gas cylinders.
Final Assessment: Demonstration of mastery in planning, managing, and executing technical dives with an emphasis on safety and efficiency.
