PreRequirements:

Minimum age: 18 years old.
Certified as a TDI Advanced Nitrox Diver and Decompression Procedures Diver (or equivalent certifications).
At least 100 logged dives, including experience with deep and staged decompression diving.
General good health and physical fitness for technical diving.

What you will learn:

The TDI Trimix Diver course prepares you to safely use Trimix gas blends to extend your diving capabilities to greater depths:
Trimix Theory: Understand the properties of helium, nitrogen, and oxygen in Trimix blends and their effects at depth.
Gas Management: Learn to manage multiple cylinders, gas switching, and emergency gas planning.
Decompression Diving: Execute staged decompression dives with Trimix gas mixtures.
Equipment Setup: Configure and maintain technical diving equipment for Trimix dives, including redundant systems.
Advanced Dive Planning: Utilize dive tables and software to calculate gas blends, decompression stops, and contingency plans.
Safety Protocols: Develop skills to handle emergencies, including lost gas scenarios and equipment failures.

Knowledge Development:
Classroom sessions covering the principles of Trimix diving, gas dynamics, and dive planning.
Training on analyzing and blending Trimix gas mixtures.
Confined Water Training:
Practice buoyancy control, gas switching, and equipment handling with multiple cylinders in a controlled environment.
Simulated emergency drills, including lost deco gas and oxygen toxicity scenarios.
Open Water Dives:
Dive 1: Practice Trimix gas management and buoyancy at intermediate depths.
Dive 2: Conduct a staged decompression dive to a deeper depth, focusing on gas switching and emergency drills.
Dive 3: Execute an advanced Trimix dive with multiple gas blends, emphasizing precision and safety.
Final Assessment:
Demonstrate mastery of Trimix dive planning, execution, and emergency management.
Certification as a TDI Trimix Diver, qualifying you to explore depths beyond recreational limits with confidence.
